Mazda
Lucky Charms

This campaign turned superstition on its head, using playful visual metaphors like heather, horseshoes and leprechaun bobbleheads to show exactly what drivers don’t need when they’re backed by Mazda’s insurance policy. I developed the storyboards to shape the narrative flow, ensuring each scene struck the right balance of humour and clarity.

On set, I worked closely with the videographer and film crew, guiding the shoot to capture a tone and pacing that brought the tongue-in-cheek creative direction to life. The lucky charms were reimagined as unnecessary clutter, highlighting the confidence and peace of mind that comes from reliable cover. The result was a lighthearted, visually distinctive take on road safety, rooted in Mazda’s assurance that luck has nothing to do with it.
